TUSSE - “GROW”

Tusse hit us up and wanted us to create his first musicvideo - ever!

The song Grow is about growing up but not becoming someone boring who lives in a box, which a whole lot of adults do.
When I first listened to this song, I felt the power of the childrens choir, their voices, their future.
Tusse wanted a video with the theme grown ups vs. children and I created three different storys of three different kids.

These kids struggles with the thought of breaking free and being who they truly are when they are kids but they dare to take the right step out in the world in the way they choose to be when they grow up.

The kids are inspired by different worlds that inspires me, as a director, to be the real me.

The ice skater dares to be a different kind of girl on the ice, far away from what the world think is girly and cute.
As someone who’ve had a “tomboy personality” growing up, I can relate to the feeling of being different than other people.
The fotball boy grows up to be a bad ass dancer in the ballroom community is inspired by all my brothers in the LGBTQ+ community that usually grows up in a masculine culture. The ballroom world is a place of freedom, a place to express yourself and it inspires me to levels I didn’t know I had inside of myself.
The little school boy who dreams of being an artist is me growing up, to be in the center and to be heard, the boy grows up to be Tusse and he is the proof that you can do what you put your mind into.

I hope that this video inspires the next generation to truly be them selfs, dare to dream and make it happen!
