DREE LOW - “FATTIG SOM RIK”

As our first MERAKI STHLM project, we got the honor of creating a music video for one of Swedens biggest and award winning hiphop artists, Dree Low.
The track is called ”Fattig som Rik” from the newly released EP ”Tunnelseende”.

The music video is inspired by Paulo Coelhos classic novel ”The Alchemist”. The idea and the vision to create this visual came in the middle of the night. The directors were listening to the track and heard a line about an alchemist and their eyes started wandering to the bookshelf, where the book was collecting dust, and it clicked.

We wanted to give the visuals a deeper meaning that was in line with the song together with the novel.
Creating a black and white video gave us the depth that we were looking for.
From the alchemist to the goat wearing the Top Class (Dree Lows label) chain, every detail was planned in a way to execute the directors and the artists vision.
